Business Analyst
Location: Dublin (Hybrid)

Hiring on behalf of a financial services organisation seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support transformation and strategic change initiatives across multi functional business and IT teams.

This role sits at the centre of business, data, and technology, analysing operational processes, gathering structured requirements, and ensuring alignment between stakeholders and technical teams in data enabled and system related environments.

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to capture and document detailed business requirements
• Translate requirements into clear functional specifications for technical teams
• Analyse business processes, workflows, and data flows to identify optimisation opportunities
• Support data mapping, issue investigation, and solution alignment with technical teams
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement validation sessions
• Maintain clear documentation and traceability across requirements and solutions
• Support test preparation, UAT execution, and defect analysis
• Act as key liaison between business, data, and technical stakeholders

Requirements

• 5 to 10 years Business Analysis experience across full project lifecycle
• Strong experience working in Agile environments with user stories and acceptance criteria
• Experience within insurance or financial services highly desirable
• Solid background in process analysis, requirements gathering, and functional documentation
• Working understanding of data analysis and data mapping
• Strong stakeholder engagement across cross functional and multi location teams
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Teams advantageous
• Exposure to system integration or enhancement initiatives beneficial
